ANNA SUZUKI is a Japanese-Jewish actor, writer, and comedian.

She was born in a toilet bowl in TOKYO (true story ask my mom) and raised in SHIZUOKA, JAPAN, where she could see Mount Fuji from her cute little window.

Now she acts, writes, does comedy, and writes about herself in third person in her second language (English). Yes, she’s pretty smart.

Anna is the co-creator of the all-Asian parody pop group, AzN PoP!, where she writes and performs original songs. Credits include: UCB NY (one-year run), UCB LA, sold out run at Joe’s Pub (Off-Broadway), SF Sketchfest, LA Diversity in Comedy Fest at Second City and more.

Anna is a three-time quarter-finalist of the Sundance Episodic Lab for her original pilots, Spooky Town, Japandering and Great Expectations, co-written with Pakistani-Muslim stand-up, Omar Shaukat. She co-wrote and co-directed the award-winning short film, Spooky Town: https://vimeo.com/470712892

As an actor, Anna was selected for the ABC/Disney Diversity Talent Showcase and NBC Diversity Showcase. TV credits include: Spike Lee’s She’s Gotta Have It (Netflix), New Amsterdam (NBC), High Maintenance (HBO), Will & Grace (NBC), Crashing (HBO), Orange is the New Black (Netflix), and many more. Film credits include Patti Cake$ (Sundance), Second Act starring Jennifer Lopez, Time Out of Mind starring Richard Gere (directed by Oscar-nominee Oren Moverman), I am Michael starring James Franco and Zachary Quinto (dir.
